Game Notes:

The seventh-ranked North Carolina Tar Heels (6-3) will host the 10th-ranked Johns Hopkins Blue Jays (6-2) on the big stage at Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill, N.C. on Saturday.

Johns Hopkins represents the longest standing non-conference rivalry on North Carolina's schedule as both teams are meeting for the 42 time with the Blue Jays holding a 24-17 advantage in the series, but with the Tar Heels claiming five victories in the two teams' last six meetings.

Hosting the Blue Jays in Kenan Stadium will also serve as test run for the Tar Heels' operations staff as they will host the upcoming 2013 ACC Champinships here from Apr. 26-28.

Johns Hopkins is coming off a big 15-8 win over Virginia in the Konica Minolta Faceoff Classic last week, while the Tar Heels are riding their current three-game win streak, with their most recent victory, an 18-12 decision over the Brown Bears, coming at home earlier in the week.

A drive to win, history, prestige, and pride all play into making this one a great lacrosse game between two storied programs that share 13 national titles between them.
